The Nock Art Foundation Artist Residency Program

The Painters Journey

In June 2014, the Nock Art Foundation celebrated its very first Artist Residency Program with the grand opening of an exhibition "The Painters' Journey" at the Pao Galleries in the Hong Kong Arts Centre. The exhibition featured the works of two globally renowned painters, Euan Macleod from New Zealand and Peter Godwin from Australia. The Painters’ Journey consisted of over 60 original works that were created during the artists’ journeys through China and Hong Kong in 2012 and 2013. The expedition was enabled by Michael Nock and some of his paintings from the trip were also exhibited. The whole experience was documented by renowned Australian photographer Jason Capobianco. The Painters' Journey was a tremendous success.
